When you fill out our tour request form, we collect:
- Your name and phone number (Step 1)
- Your email, bedroom and bathroom preferences, and desired move-in date (Step 2)
- Your Housing Choice Voucher status, issuing public housing authority, household size, accessibility needs, preferred tour time, and your consent (Step 3)
We do not collect Social Security numbers, financial account information, or government IDs through this website. Income and identity verification happen later through your public housing authority.
We also automatically log technical information when you visit, including IP address, browser type, and pages viewed. This is used to operate the site, prevent abuse, and improve performance.
2. How we use your information
We use your information to:
- Schedule and confirm property tours
- Communicate about available units and your tour status
- Comply with fair housing record-keeping requirements
- Detect and prevent fraud or abuse
We do not sell your information.
3. Who we share it with
We share your information only with:
- Service providers that help us operate the site (hosting, email delivery, messaging)
- Government agencies if required by law
- The Cuyahoga Metropolitan Housing Authority or your public housing authority, only when needed for lease processing
4. How long we keep it
We keep tour request data for 24 months from your last contact with us. After that, we delete or anonymize the records. If you become a tenant, lease-related records follow our standard retention schedule (typically 7 years after lease end, as required by HUD).
5. Your rights
You can:
- Ask what information we have about you
- Request correction of inaccurate information
- Request deletion (subject to legal hold requirements)
- Opt out of marketing communications at any time
