Euclid Ave Apartments complies with all federal, state, and local fair housing laws.
Federal Fair Housing Act
Under the Fair Housing Act (42 U.S.C. § 3601 et seq.), it is illegal to discriminate in housing based on:
- Race
- Color
- Religion
- Sex (including sexual orientation and gender identity)
- National origin
- Familial status (families with children under 18)
- Disability
We do not discriminate on any of these bases.
Ohio law
Ohio Revised Code § 4112.02 adds protections including military status and ancestry. We comply with all protections in Ohio's Civil Rights laws. Complaints can be filed with the Ohio Civil Rights Commission.
Cleveland source-of-income protection
The Cleveland Codified Ordinances Chapter 663 prohibits source-of-income discrimination in housing. This means landlords in Cleveland cannot refuse to rent to you because you use a Housing Choice Voucher (Section 8) or other lawful source of income.
Euclid Ave Apartments is leased exclusively to Housing Choice Voucher holders. This is deliberate housing program participation that creates housing opportunities for voucher holders. It is not a refusal to rent to people without vouchers — it is a marketing focus consistent with the property owner's business plan and program participation.
Equal Housing Opportunity
We display the Equal Housing Opportunity logo to affirm our commitment to fair housing for all.
Reasonable accommodations and modifications
If you have a disability, you may request:
- Reasonable accommodations: changes to rules, policies, or practices (for example, allowing a service animal in a no-pet building, or reserving a closer parking space)
- Reasonable modifications: physical changes to the unit or common areas (for example, installing grab bars, ramps, or visual fire alarms)
Requests can be made at any time during your tour request, application, or tenancy. We will engage in an interactive process to find a solution.
To request an accommodation or modification, mention it on your tour request form, or contact us by phone or email.
